I just couldn’t resist it!
Not many people can say they have run a marathon on 29th February.
The whole day was a bit of a rush with an 5am alarm call and early morning drive to the Furzton lake in Milton Keynes. It was nice to briefly meet some of the usual marathon maniacs before jumping back into my car. The weather was good from running, calm cloudy and very mild for Feb at 10 degrees.
I came in bronze position with a time of 3 hours 27 minutes and 5 seconds which coincidently matched my running number.
Thanks to Foxy for organising the very enjoyable event at fairly short notice so we could get the opportunity to run on such an unusual date, certainly won’t do it again for at least 4 years!
