Thursday 21st June 2012 and the letter I’ve been waiting for from the Brathay Trust comes through the post at home. Yuk-Lam rings me at work, am I in or not? She reads the all important sentence “I am pleased to inform you that your application has been successful”

For the second time I am accepted to compete in probably the ultimate marathon event, the Brathay 10 in 10, which is to run the marathon round Lake Windermere 10 times in 10 days from 10th to 19th May 2013.
Time to plan my training….
Can I be here again in 2013?
