By entering online, runners are agreeing to all of the following event rules:-
This event is open to amateur runners as defined by UK Athletics rules.
Entrants must be medically fit to take part.
Entrants must abide with UK Athletic rules, the race safety requirements, Marshal’s instructions and be courteous to the public and motorists out on the course or risk disqualification.
Entants agree that the organisers/sponsors shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to property, accident or injury arising from their participation in this event.
Runners must be over 18 on race day.
By entering the race you are giving us permission to have your photograph taken. We will put photos up on the Internet and Facebook for runners to download free of charge. We reserve the right to use selected photos for promoting future races. If there is a photo of you which you object to, please contact us clearly identifying the picture and we will remove it.
Entry fees are NOT refundable or deferrable.
Entries are only transferable with the agreement of the Race Director up to 7 days prior to the race (subject to full details being given of the person taking the place and their ability to fulfill the race criteria). No transferring of race numbers is allowed after this date or on race day. Anyone found transferring their race number without arrangement with the Race Director will be disqualified.
This run is a charity event, primarily held to raise money for the Brathay Trust. Our entry prices are one of the lowest in the country. Should you enter and subsequently not be able to attend the event, please have the heart to consider your entry fee as a donation to Brathay.
Should the event be cancelled, all proceeds will go to the nominated charities.
