To be held on Bank Holiday Monday, 29th August 2011, Start 10am.
This is an internal club event is to be held along side the Gin Pit Trail Marthon.
It will take the form of the first 3 laps of the 6 lap marathon.
Both races will start at the same time.
Registration for collection of race number, start, finish and water station, will all be at the Miners Welfare Club, Gin Pit Village, Ley Road, Tyldesley, Manchester, M29 7DW
Registration is from 9:00am on race day.
Entry Fee: £10.00 (All profits to charity). No entries on the day.
This event is open to members of Astley & Tyldesley Road Runners only!
Closing date for entries is 15th August 2011.
Parking, toilets and a bar are available at the Welfare Club. Hot drinks and pasties will be on sale after the race.
Medals to all finishers. Results will be made available after the event on the A&T Blog and e-mailed to finishers.
Road trainers are suitable for dry conditions, trail shoes recommended in wet conditions.
Please do not enter the Welfare Club in muddy trainers and running gear, please respect our club.
The water station at the start/finish (every 4.4miles) will have Jelly babies, biscuits & water. Runners will be also able to leave their own drinks at the station albeit at their own risk.
