Six in the City

I know this is supposed to be a running blog but this is my blog and I can post any article I want. This item isn’t to do with running but means a lot to me.

I have followed in my father’s foot steps and been a Man City fan all my life. In fact I got my name from the City manager at the time when I was born, Malcolm Allison. When I was born the late 60’s, City was doing really well but by the time I was old enough to remember anything, City had already started to slip down Division 1. The football score this Sunday (23rd October 2011) is by far the best match City has played in my living memory.

Manchester United 1, Manchester City 6.

I don’t care what anyone says the Manchester Derbys are the biggest matches for any real Mancunian football supporter. To beat United in the derby by such a huge margin and at their ground is almost unbelievable.

It drives me mad when I hear both the managers Ferguson and Mancini say it is just another 3 points. They couldn’t be further from the truth. Ask any true Mancunian.

I’m looking forward to seeing my team have more success over the coming months and years.

Come on You Blues!
