For me, there has now been a few days with no running as I have a lingering, stubborn cold. I don’t mind too much as I have enjoyed a wonderful long period of unbroken running but I’m worried as it has come only one week before my biggest challenge planned for 2012, the Quadzilla (4 marathons in 4 days). I’m only hoping I can shake it off enough that it doesn’t spoil this event for me. I hope to complete all 4 days in under 4 hours per day. Well, we’ll have to just wait and see what happens.
Today, Sunday 5th Feb, the snow has come and the Collins family venture out into Lilford woods for a bit of sledging and walk in the snow. A lovely winter’s day with the snow and a bit of fog creating some very unusual sights. I took my camera in the hope of getting some unusual shots of the family and the weather.
What I didn’t bank on was capturing a shot of Wayne and out running too! I love running in snow and don’t often get the chance so today felt a bit frustrating, especially when I saw Wayne and others out running.
Wayne, great to see you and good to see you running in preparation for your Javelin season. Wayne is the man responsible for creating my wonderful blog! I’m always saying it and will again, thanks Wayne. Sorry we couldn’t chat, maybe next time!
