and A&T Internal Club Half Marathon.

To be held on Sunday, 19th August 2012, at the Miners Welfare Club, Gin Pit Village, Ley Road, Tyldesley, Manchester, M29 7DW.

This is an internal club event, to be held along side the Gin Pit Trail Marathon and is open to A&T Club members and guests only.

The Gill Pimblott Memorial Race will be 1 single lap of 4.37 miles starting and finishing at the Astley & Tyldesley Miners Welfare Club, Gin Pit Village.
Entry Fee £5.00. All entries are on the day, enter from 10am at the Welfare Club.
Race Start time 11am.

The Half Marathon will take the form of 3 laps of the above.
Entry Fee £10.00. The Entry form can be down loaded below. No entries on the day. Closing date for entries is 11^th August 2011. Registration for collection of race number is 9am onwards at the welfare on the morning of the race.

Parking, toilets and a bar are available at the Welfare Club. Hot drinks and pasties will be on sale after the race.

Medals to all finishers in both races. Results will be made available after the event on the A&T Blog.

Road trainers are suitable for dry conditions, trail shoes recommended in wet conditions.
Please do not enter the Welfare Club in muddy trainers and running gear, please respect our club.

The water station is at the start/finish (or every 4.37 miles for the Half Marathon) & will have Jelly babies, biscuits & water. Runners will be also able to leave their own drinks at the station albeit at their own risk.
